One of the differences between digital cameras and film cameras are digital camera body tends to heat up. As a result, there can be condensation or condensation inside the waterproof protector or the camera lens when the humidity in the high protective.

Therefore, you should avoid opening protection in damp areas, such as on board or on a wet beach. Equally important, you need to replace the battery on each dive if you do not want to risk running out of battery. Divers who dive more than once a day to prepare a backup battery.

When out of the water after diving, flush and shake-shake camera protector with water to remove sand or salt element attached to the protector. Then dry the entire surface of the protector with a dry cloth.

Wipe the entire surface of the shield and between the keys with a towel. If there is sand or foreign objects, shake protector with water and wipe again until it is gone and dry. Place the protector is on the table or chair and a towel to wipe all over your head to prevent water or the hair of his head fall to the patron when opened. But do not do it just above the shield is open.

When you open a protective water-resistant, do it quickly. Replace batteries quickly, consider the O-ring, lock and shield it from the back side of a foreign object, insert one or two packets of silica gel, and cover again.

Power off the camera if your digital camera models can be turned off while in a protective waterproof. If without this feature, set the camera to shooting mode, turn off the LCD monitor and wait until the camera go into sleep mode automatically. Perform this procedure as soon as possible and as good as possible before the next dive, so that the silica gel packets have enough time to absorb the moisture in the protector.

Before you dive again, do the testing of protective, check for a few seconds the first time and for a second longer. Carefully store waterproof protection in direct sunlight. Protector and your digital camera will heat up and cause condensation when in the boat or dive.
